Women in Tech Community Page
A network created for women across all disciplines in tech and at whatever stage you are in your Tech career. Bringing Academia, Industry and those wanting to step into Tech together.

This is a space for women who know the reality of working in tech, the speed, the pressure, the brilliance, and the challenge of staying true to yourself while building a career you’re proud of.
Our focus is knowing who you are as a woman in Tech, your identity, confidence, visibility and leadership style and clarity: the parts of your career that shape how you carry yourself in rooms where decisions are made which are dominated by men.
This isn’t another polished corporate network. It’s a community built for women who want to lead and who want to be unapologetically themselves..

Free Resource: Who You Are as a Female Tech Leader
A grounded, reflective guide that helps you explore your identity, beliefs and mindset as a woman in tech. It’s not about fixing you. It’s about understanding the patterns that shape your confidence, your leadership, and the way you show up in rooms where decisions are made.
“Leadership here means leading yourself, your work, your projects, your people or your ideas, with or without the title.”
“Some of what holds women back in tech is the system, not you.”
Why I Created This Community
After 27 years working in Higher Education in HR and Payroll IT, and now 4 years as a coach I’ve seen the same pattern again and again: women who are talented, capable and ready for more, but held back by the environment, not their ability.
Identity, confidence and leadership are shaped by the rooms we’re in, and too many of those rooms still aren’t built with women in mind.
This community is my way of changing that.
A place where women can grow, be seen, be supported, and lead in their own style.
Welcome to Women in Tech South Wales.
